NanoFiber Electrospinning

Electrospinning is a widely used method for producing fiber with diameter in the order of nanometers. In this method, electric force is applied to draw charged threads of polymer solutions or polymer melts. Electrospinning integrates characteristics of both electrospraying and conventional solution dry spinning of fibers. The process does not require use of coagulation chemistry or high temperatures to produce solid threads from solution. The feature makes the process well suited to the production of nano fibers using large and complex molecules.
